Give heritage, not merchandise

Give heritage, not merchandise
Heritage-inspired corporate gift from Barcelona

A different approach to corporate gifting

Walk through a promotional merchandise fair and you may see variations of the same products: mugs, keyrings and generic objects that could carry the name of almost any city. That is more than an aesthetic problem. When a company wants to express a sense of place or a clear set of values, an object with no connection to either says very little.

At Petit Gaudí we work from a different starting point: a gift can carry cultural heritage. It can tell a genuine story about its maker, its materials and the city that inspired it.

Traditional artisan mosaic-making process

What makes a heritage gift different?

An object rooted in a real craft does not need a huge logo to justify its existence. Its form, finish and origin already communicate something. A recipient who understands who made it and what makes it particular to Barcelona has more to remember than an ordinary promotional giveaway.

1904 and 1997 are not the same design

Gaudí designed a decorative mosaic with raised marine motifs in 1904. The pavement tile adapted for Passeig de Gràcia in 1997 belongs to the same design history but is a distinct object. Getting that story right matters. Cultural heritage deserves more than an attractive but inaccurate label.

Artisan reproductions retain skills associated with mould-making, materials and finishing. They are not designed to look mechanically identical, and that is precisely part of their appeal.

Our three non-negotiable principles

Made by hand

The artisan is part of the finished piece, not an invisible production step. Small runs make it possible to respond to a professional brief without losing the object’s character.

A recognisable icon

Something that connects a gift to Barcelona without relying on a sticker. The form of the Gaudí pavement tile, a commemorative medal or a Trencadís wooden puzzle can make that connection immediately.

Visible imperfection

Wood grain, a tiny pore or a subtle difference in colour reveal the human process. We do not try to make craftsmanship pass for anonymous industrial production.

A useful partner for companies

Hotels, event agencies and brands need more than a beautiful object. They need clear quantities, presentation options, lead times and someone who can coordinate the work. The challenge is to make that practical while keeping the artisan and their craft visible.

A gift from Barcelona should not feel interchangeable with one from any other city. When a gift communicates where you are and what you value, the story becomes part of the object.
